[Mono-devel-list] Forcing Mono to use new MCS build

Hiya,  my Linux drive just fell over, so I have just had to set up Mono from
scratch.

Can anyone tell me how I can force Mono to use my freshly rebuilt mcs.exe?
I installed from .tar.gz files.  Mono seems to be using an older MCS, that
doesn't even support /o or -version.
