Thx for the file socket-io.c  :)  I will test it out and post back the results.


About the patch:  I think I have a broken patch command :/  I even tried:

patch -b -u -i sock.diffs.txt -p0

Which by all acconts should work.  Does anyone here know what patch params to 
use for a diff created like -

RCS file: /cvs/public/mono/mono/metadata/socket-io.c,v
retrieving revision 1.46
diff -u -p -r1.46 socket-io.c

My attempts either fail or end up with an infinite loop.  Which is still failure 
- just takes longer (or until I kill -9 it...)
