[Mono-devel-list] compiling on solaris 9

has anyone successfully built mono on Solaris 9? With all required
components I know of in place, mono from CVS successfully compiles
several pieces before erroring on
/usr/share/src/gen2/mono/cvs/mono/mono/metadata/socket-io.c

output includes "cast increases required alignment of target type" under
MANY functions. I will gladly provide that output in whole to interested
parties, but I doubt this is error in the code as much as it is a lack
of a required library or include.
