[Mono-devel-list] wrt mscorlib vs corlib

Jackson says he is ready to check in the code that switches it tonight,
but it will obviously require a download of a monocharge and a rebuild
of everything.

Is it possible for Jackson to put in the code to do the switch, so all
new code is compiled as mscorlib, but leave the string conversion inside
the runtime in for a little while (one week, maybe more) to allow the
switchover process to be far more seemless for all involved?

I am not too sure if this is feasible or not, just curious.
