Yes the Xrender and Render modules are not in cairo cvs server. But I
didn't have problems to compile the cairo module (but had to create the
xrender pc file). In Xfree-4.3.0 Xrender version is 1.0 so if you have
this version you will not have problems building. So the packages that
you mention are only of use when you don't have xfree installed or have
an old version.
