Have you tried any other ports and received the same response and have you verified that those ports are not firewalled? (that was my problem a couple weeks ago)

No. I ran xsp from regular user listening port 8080 and all was correct,
then I tried to run xsp from root again listening 8080, but have this:
** (process:8987): WARNING **: Shared memory sanity check failed.
** (process:8987): WARNING **: Failed to attach shared memory! Falling
to non-shared handles
Listening on port: 8080
Listening on address:
Root directory: /home/dim/work/om/www/asp-net
Virtual directory: /

And xsp refuses all the connections on 8080.

I thought this is a bug, and sent a bugreport few time ago, but got
resolution "Not a bug" without any description of what happens.

This is exactly what I meant by "not working properly".

Thank You! :)))
Best regards, dim. :)))
