I don't think that removing those people from the list of authors is a
good practice. Even if you rewrote the whole class, the 'namespace',
'class' and method/event/properties signatures are part of their work.

Also you use to add your name to the authors and copyrights when you
shuffle a few lines or add a few ones. That's not fair. IMO, doing a
small bugfix should not be enough to add yourself to the
authors/copyright.

I'd like to hear more opinions on best practices for this topic.
