[Mono-devel-list] Mono & PPC

Can anyone tell me what the status is of porting Mono
to the PPC?

I have found several links, but they seem old and
obsolete.  Several are dated from around 2001.  There
are a few source code files in the mono dist, but
that's it.  

Under the porting section of the Mono site, it says
that mcs is self hosting under Linux/PPC.  What
exactly does that mean?  I can't find anything at
http://www.penguinppc.org, which is the offical
Linux/PPC site.

Is the port to PPC dead?
