[Mono-devel-list] porting mono to python

there are at least two projects that provide Python/Net support, though I dont believe that they work on Mono.
 
the first is

and the second is
http://www.zope.org/Members/Brian/PythonNet/index_html
 
I'm not quite sure what your looking for, but maybe this will give you some ideas.
