[Mono-devel-list] mono.pc file

Hi
 
I am trying to compile a program written in mono (csharp-studio -
mentioned on this list not too long ago) and the configure script is
asking for a mono.pc file.
 
As far as I can tell there is no such file on my system (Debain).  I
have written a few test programs with mono and everything seems to work
great.  How to I generate/obtain the file and put it in the right spot
for pkg-config?
