[Mono-devel-list] Porting Mono to Other OS

Mono Hackers,

I am looking at using Microsoft .NET as a base library for an application.
However, portability is a significant concern.

Could you give me a __brief__ outline of what must be done to and estimate for
porting a) the interpreter and b) the libraries. For example, threading classes
would need to be rewritten.
