[Mono-devel-list] Boot-strap mcs under cygwin

OK, so I'm making some progress, I think...

If I try to compile with the hybrid MCS_0_23 (and 0.17 version of
mcs/mcs/{class,expression}.cs), I get further, but class.cs generates some
"jay" errors.

This isn't too surprising to me since I would imagine a significant number
of changes were injected between 0.17 and 0.23.

So, I think to myself, I'll just checkout the MCS_0_17 revision!  Well, I've
tried that twice now (cvs co -r MCS_0_17 mcs), and it's failed at the same
place both times.

Here's the last few lines of the checkout:

cvs server: Updating mcs/class/doc
U mcs/class/doc/API-notes
U mcs/class/doc/NUnitGuidelines
cvs [server aborted]: invalid change text in
/mono/mcs/class/doc/TemplateTest.cs,v

So I'm now dead in the water.  Help!

Does anyone have the MCS_0_23 version of mcs/mcs/{class,expression}.cs?
