It affects me too on OpenSUSE 12.1 with Gnome 3. Looks like it has been
reported 2011-08-05 first time, here is a similar report (look last comment for
more links): https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=719370

Also, version of monodevelop in repo is 2.4, while the latest stable release is
3.0.2 (http://monodevelop.com/Download).
