in the package is the newest unstable version 3.0.0 of IronPython. This Version
isn't full compatible to 2.7.x .
Please use the stable version or use 2 different versions in the package.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.mono
/Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/Current/lib/ironpython/ipy.exe -V
2. mono
/Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/2.10.2/lib/ironpython/ipy.exe -V

Actual Results:  
IronPython 3.0 3.0.0.0 on 2.10.5 (tarball Mon Aug 22 20:38:08 EDT 2011)

Expected Results:  
IronPython 2.7 2.7.0.40 on 2.10.5 (tarball Mon Aug 22 20:38:08 EDT 2011)

All IronPython releases can be found on http://ironpython.codeplex.com, but no,
IronPython 3.0 has not been released yet. I believe they just took the latest
sources from http://github.com/IronLanguages/main, which has the 3.0.0.0
version. Not sure what actual commit they took, you'd have to ask the Mono
team.
