I've created bug http://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1585 in Xamarin's
bugzilla with a repro test case for this bug.

Since it's likely a race condition, it doesn't happen everytime, but I have
been able to reproduce it more often on a 2 core than a quad or higher core
machine.  The Xamarin bugzilla case also has links to posts I've made on the
Mono-devel list about a commit which might have introduced this bug.
