I see the same behaviour in CentOS (various versions from 5.3 to 5.5; x86 and
x64).

It's quite problematic for us because our web application database layer makes
extensive use of in-process caching to speed up page generation times. Because
of this bug we need to run many instances of our application which vastly
increases the memory requirements of our application when run on Mono compared
to IIS.

Is there anything we can do to help narrow down the underlying cause of this
behaviour and ultimately get a fix into a future version of Mono?
