Project to reproduce bug

Description of Problem:
Mono 1.0.1

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Install attached VS project 
2. Run it


Actual Results:
Red background + black text with 10dip margins

Expected Results:
Red background + black text with 10dip margins ***inside white round-cornered
background***

How often does this happen? 
Every time


Additional Information:
The same layout & shape file work on vanilla Android
