There seems to be problems on multi-core ARM systems.

To reproduce:

GC_DONT_GC=1 mono domain-stress.exe 2 10 1 1

domain-stress is in mono/tests. This will crash randomly, due to memory
corruption. mono apps like f-spot also crash. Running with MONO_NO_SMP=1 makes
the crashes go away.

This is on a dual-core nvidia tegra.
