Additionally, I notice this behavior on 2.10.1.0 running on i386.  I do not see
this on 2.8 running on amd64.  On the 2.8 compiler, I get this IL:

        IL_002d:  ldloc.0
        IL_002e:  neg

Which produces the correct behavior.
