I mentioned this in IRC earlier this week, but I'm not sure if you saw:  

I think the project file should be the system of record for the filenames.  I
assume this is already the case, but since it is possible to get the filename
on disk out of sync with the filename in the project Visual Studio (and I
assume MonoDevelop on Windows), I figure we should make that explicit. 
Otherwise developers could see one case used in the Solution Explorer, and a
different case used for the generated field.
