I had at look at SharpChess: it crashes under MS.NET when executed *outside*
Visual Studio with an untrappable exception (like above) while trying to read
its resources.

It looks like the last VS.NET project conversion did break something in some
resx file (the image "imgPieces" cannot be load due to a serialization issue).

This is not a Mono bug.
