Not a fan either ;-) but the workaround is meant to be temporary (to unblock
you) and make it clearer where the real issue must be.

The bug will be staying [RE]OPEN[ED] until a real fix is available - but please
tell us if this works for you (oir if you have other similar cases that it does
not solve).
