In my case, I have 2 different profiles for the same application but each one
has different Bundle Identifier, so if I try to compile with one profile and
the incorrect bundle identifier (like if I change the profile and forget to
change the identifier bundle name), I got this error.

If you file a bug maybe they can correct the message, I think that it can being
handled internally as arrays of something like that, then if at compilation it
do not find the correct bundle identifier related to profile, it gives this
index out of range, like when we try a sqlDataReader["IncorrectField"] and
something similar happens.

i have no enterprise edition,....

yes, i have 2 profiles , which i use, i now activated one second profile, then
i could compile, but this error is still strange, should not be there an
signing error or something like that ?

Andreas,

I have 3 different profiles here, one for develop/debug, another for adhoc.
Both are to the same application.
The third is for Enterprise distribution only but for a second application.

So, if I change the "Bundle identifier" in Project Options/iPhone Application
to the second application bundle name that I just for enterprise distribution
and try to compile as debug on device or simulator, I get this error that you
reported.

Try to see if this situation can show you some light in the case that you are
working with more than one profile and different Bundle identifier as me…
