Sample project exposing bug

I did a bit of researching and found that my bug is related to this one so I'm
not creating a new bug report for it.

The attachment showcases my issue. I have distilled my project down as far as I
could to highlight the issue with the work-around that you provided.

In the project there are two table views with two separate table view sources.
One source implements the work-around provided. The other does not. As soon as
I implement the work-around in both sources, the project works as normal.
