This bug is related to the code generated for serialization.

Can you try to extract which type is been serialized at the time of the crash?
If you can get a core dump of it what are the value of the 'method' and
'retklass' parameters (get gdb to inspect them)?

This crash looks very similar to #611836 and it was fixed on trunk. You can try
to apply it to 2.6 and see if it fixes for you.
