No, WinForms and GTK# are 2 different things, and WinForms should work.
WinForms on Mac, however, clearly hasn't had as much work as on Linux or
Windows, and is therefore buggier.

That said, several patches were recently submitted to the Mono team, which
should make WinForms on Mac more robust. This means some of the problems you're
having might already be fixed in the next version.

On last thing: report bugs one by one, and attach reduced, self contained test
cases. It doesn't help if an app has 200 bugs, 1 bug = 1 bug report. It's more
work for you, but otherwise your report will be ignored, as it's just going to
be too much hassle for the devs.
