No doubt it is, as the real reason for this is discussed in great detail in
another bug I mentioned before:
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=495516 and no real action was taken
to remedy this.

I think I'll get to refining a patch for the problem, but not anytime soon.
