Since Mono 2.8 all mono applications fail at startup showing
TypeInitializationException (also xbuild).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Upgrade from mono 2.6.x to mono 2.8
2.Run xbuil (with no args)

if i specify --gc=sgen, all works correctly...

So basically it seems to be a machine configuration problem.

Machine 1: after installing mono 2.8 all NET applications will fail. I've
removed all mono packages and etc config and mono dirs and reinstlled them, but
Exception persist. using "--gc=sgen" option all works. Using "--gc=boehm" the
problem appears.

Machine 2: after installing mono 2.8 all works correctly. If i specify both
"--gc=boehm" or "--gc=sgen" all works correctly.


I'm on ArchLinux i686.
