I'm leaning towards writing a validation pass on compile where we throw errors
or warnings for things like this and 644304 that will show up in the VS/MD
error list window.

That would seem to be a balance between doing "magic" behind the user's back,
and letting them shoot themselves in the foot.

Thoughts?
