One could make the argument that because 2.6 is the LTS release that this is a
major break in functionality. Its quite difficult to bundle mono on the mac
without this fix (I'm aware of mkbundle scenarios for simple apps).

Thanks. We will have to run with our patch until the next LTS release that
fixes this.
