Same situation here (on Windows 7, VS 2010 Professional and
monotools-2.0.7509).

After choosing a "location to put finished package", a dialog "Choose Profile"
pops up. I choose a profile (which works fine when running and debugging an
application), leave the alternative to "Quick Launch" unused and click on OK.

Then, for a millisecond I can see a dialog named "Deploy to host", but it
diappears very quick. Also, no package is created and unfortunately no error
messages show up, whether in the "error list" and "output" tab or in a
messagebox. I also checked the "event log" of windows.
