So, I have some good news and some bad news.

The good news is that I can't reproduce this with r8242, and thus it should be
fixed in the next release.

The bad news is that I'm not exactly sure what fixed it, thus I don't know what
a viable workaround would be.  Nor do I know when Preview 5 is expected.
