Hey Lie,

The simplest way is to fork/clone mono git repository (github.com/mono/mono)
and cherry pick the relevant commits from trunk into a local branch based on
2-8.

The commit for this fix is 5f29a1882585d34c60c3da82a7599970e119f9ff

Given our current release policy this will only be part of our next major
release since it neither blocks a lot of users or is a security issue.
