Do you have the MONODEVELOP_SDB_LOG environment variable set ?

That's currently broken on Windows (bug in MonoDevelop, I'll report that
tomorrow).  We're specifying the logfile in quotation marks and fopen() doesn't
like that ...

As a related note, we're currently not doing very good wrt. error reporting if
anything goes wrong.  That's already on my agenda for this week - and since
we're using MonoDevelop's debugging library in MonoVS, you'll also get that
fixed in MonoDevelop :-)
