I just downloaded and installed Mono 2.6.3, the error persists:

vengeo-incs-imac:~ vengeoinc$ mono --version
Mono JIT compiler version 2.6.3 (tarball Wed Mar 10 18:18:12 MST 2010)
Copyright (C) 2002-2010 Novell, Inc and Contributors. www.mono-project.com
    TLS:           normal
    GC:            Included Boehm (with typed GC)
    SIGSEGV:       normal
    Notification:  Thread + polling
    Architecture:  x86
    Disabled:      none
vengeo-incs-imac:~ vengeoinc$ 

Error message is the same except replace "mono-2.6.1" with "mono-2.6.3".
