Not to sound antagonistic, but what do you want to happen?  As the error
message states, Resources\layout\main.xml contains a reference to the
@string/hello resource, and you removed the @string/hello resource in step (2).

Either you should keep the @string/hello resource, or you should remove all
references to it (e.g. by editing Resources\layout\main.xml and any other files
which reference that resource).
