Setting ComboBox.SelectedText to null crashes System.Windows.Forms on Mono.
This causes no problem in Windows and appears to have the same effect as
setting it to "". In my own app I fixed this with = text ?? "". In any case,
crashes in Mono, not in MS.NET.
