None of my local asp.net applications work after upgrading; they all throw the
described exception.

These web applications work fine from within MonoDevelop (so running on
xsp2.exe at 127.0.0.1:8080), but once they are deployed to the web (which is my
owm iMac on which I do the development), and run on apache at localhost, on
port 80, they crash as indicated. 

When I deploy one of these apps on the my ISP's server (that an IIS7 server,
not a Mac running Mono), it works as expected.
