I can also confirm this bug on CentOS 5 in Mono tarball release 2.6.7. It
appears to attempt building with our pre-existing system compiler (Mono Release
2.0.1 and fails with the error message as mentioned in the other messages

Applying the Minimal 2.6 fix diff patch allows successful compilation.
