Thanks Geoff, I think part of my problem was not investigating it further
because the last stable release was problematic for me.

The latest beta definitely is better at handling my large project. 

Question:
Wouldn't it be better to take out the 'Don't Link' option, as I am sure I won't
be the only one with this problem in future?
