Summary: Cannot add an ssl web reference
    Classification: Mono
           Product: Mono: Class Libraries
           Version: 2.6.x
          Platform: x86-64
        OS/Version: Ubuntu
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P5 - None
         Component: System
        AssignedTo: mono-bugs at lists.ximian.com
        ReportedBy: james.king at 4act.com

           Blocker: ---

Description of Problem:
After upgrading to mono 2.6.7 and monodevelop 2.4 I cannot add an ssl web
reference. I have verified that I have the correct certificates using
tlstest.exe If I downgrade to mono 2.4.4 and monodevelop 2.2 I can successfully
add an ssl webreference.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. create a new monodevelop solution/project
2. try to add an ssl web reference to the project

Actual Results:
Error getting response stream (Write: The authentication or decryption has
failed.): SendFailure

Expected Results:
an web reference should be added to the project

How often does this happen?
every time

Additional Information:
I am using Ubuntu Lucid Lynx. The version of mono/monodevelop in the universe
repository works. When I upgrade to the BadgerPorts PPA 2.2.6/2.4 is when this
stops working. If I downgrade back to 2.2.4 and 2.2 this works again.
