This problem is probably similar to the one I just reported in Bug 600844.
Apparently, when *getting* RichTextBox.Rtf, correct Unicode chars are returned,
but when *setting* RichTextBox.Rtf, only ASCII Chars 0-127 are accepted. 

For the time being, at Bug 600844 I posted a little workaround which works for
me, maybe you like to test it for the problem reported here.
