Is there a work-around for this or is it something that won't get fixed? If
anything with resources won't work then it seems like a bit of a problem.

Oddly, I've been running WinForms apps before and not encountered this until
today. I've got a WinXP VM with VisualStudio 2005 C# Express and no Internet
connection. Updates are disabled, because it can't access the network and only
my code goes in and out and it keeps it consistent, and the "Add/Remove
programs" says the framework was "last used" back in September 2009. That means
that it shouldn't have changed, but loading an ImageListStreamer from the
resources seems to fail on Mono/Linux while loading the app and form icons work
fine.
