Thomas: argh, I removed everything else from that dll but the zlib related
functions. I'll ask the QA team to run some DeflateStream tests with the next
windows package before releasing it. I'll leave this bug open until I verify
that a windows package works. Thanks.

Esben: your problem is completely unrelated to this bug. In your case, the
libMonoPosixHelper.so cannot be *found*. You probably need to set
LD_LIBRARY_PATH to the $PREFIX/lib that you used when installing from sources.
