Well, basically anything related to generics is just badly broken because the
code has never been finished and the parts that are finished are also broken. 
I'm currently working on it, should expect some progress around the end of the
week.

Turning this crash into a meaningful error is really trivial, I'll do that
either later today or tomorrow - when I'm too tired to work on the generics
code.
