If I source the addon environment in the monovs-server script, then I don't get
this error.

c461:/opt/novell/mono/bin # cat monovs-server 
#!/bin/sh

 /opt/novell/mono/bin/mono-addon-environment.sh

exec /opt/novell/mono/bin/mono
"/opt/novell/mono/lib/monovs-server/monovs-server.exe" "$@"
