I thought about doing that but we have to be able to run under medium trust,
and unless your are MS code, you cannot use the BinaryFormatter under medium
trust. I would have to deserialize the the license file by hand, and that was
to much code bloat to include in the general purpose library, and we did not
want to build a one off just for mono.
