Yes, VistaDB 4.0 does depend on this feature. And it looks like the latest
patches will allow VistaDB to work, which is fine. 

Most of our customers are aware that Mono is in continuous development and that
it is not yet fully compatible with MS dot Net. The only issue we had was when
it looked like the LicenseManager was compatible but it was not, and this issue
looked to be dead and ignored, no follow up since '07. 

With this patch, this part of the codebase is now in compliance, so it is no
longer an issue. Once I know which build this code will be pushed live with I
can tell my customers we are compatible with Mono build x, which Gonzalo said
should be a 2.4.3 build, so we are good with that, and I thank Carlo for the
patch and Gonzalo for the follow up.
