We need to do something about this.  It doesn't have to be done in
monovs-gui-server.  I would be okay with just adding an icon to the desktop
that shows the output of ifconfig (it would be nice if that output was
formatted to just show the relevant). 

This would still leave the issue that the port is undiscoverable.  That seems
like it should be a little easier to fix, though.
