Custom CALayer Example

User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-GB;
rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5

I've created a ExampleLayer which inherits CALayer.
When trying to add the custom layer as a Sublayer - it crashes with this error:

I've attached the project/bug in question. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run project
Actual Results:  
Program crashes

Expected Results:  
Layer to be added as a sublayer - uncomment code as an example of how the layer
should look.
